He is driving me mad. What is he supposed to be? I mean, he is only there because I needed a second Elite choice and all he will do is stand on an objective.

But I need him to fit into the theme of the army. So what the hell is he supposed to be?

I need ideas, before my madness drives me to eat the model I currently use for him biggrin.png

Yep, like the transports in fast attack, everything in 7th edition dexes has an FoC slot associated with it. So Servitors are an eiltes choice, but if you take an Iron Priest, one Servitor unit doesn't use up an elite slot.

Edit: To answer the initial question:P Dunno really. Crashed kearl needing rescue? Model a wounded Iron Priest as the objective marker he'll be sitting on and have him protecting his fallen master?

Not being a SW (so no Codex) can you have Servitors without a Techmarine because I don't see one there?

This is not a rule discussion thread. Besides, without a codex you can not comment on the fidelity of the list anyway.

Keep it on track, bud ;)

My idea was to make it a floating servo skull/servitor that analyzes th battlefield, terrain, enemies, objectives, wildlife or whatever it is currently stuck at.

But I wanted to see if we can come up with something more imaginative.

It may be a Servitor in the rules, but the model can be whatever.

C'mon guys, give this guy a purpose!

dunno because It has never come up for me, but can you choose to just keep him in reserves the whole game? I don't think so but wondered.

I guess he may as well be on the board. Unless there are kill points or specific maelstrom of war cards in play you don't really lose anything when he died lls and he might conceivably be useful (grabbing an objective or something?)

A mjod dispenser. msn-wink.gif

More seriously though, is this list some kind of formation, or why did you include a unit you have no use for?

Presume its cos he's running it as CoF (to get the WS5 on his WG and TWC), so you need 2 elites minumum.

Have him laying down grit on a particularly icy base.

So, in general one can split opinions into two camps.

1) Servitor that records, fixes and collectors something

2) A human who is preoccupied doing some motivational things like singing, waving a banner or writing songs.

As much as I love the goofy ideas here (Mjod dispenser made me laugh), it has to look intimidating and thus I want to avoid comic relief :P

How about a servitor upper torso pulling himself along by his arms after his legs have been immobilized by a Xeno (which was subsequently dealt with).  http://www.chud.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/walking_dead_bicycle.jpeg
