Blackout2014
Was looking to learn more about the Emperor's Children. I know they were featured in the original Black Library Trilogy. They also are detailed in Fulgrim and Angel Exterminatus (Although that one is a better read to learn about Perturabo). Plus they are in the short story "Reflection Cracked." Are there other stories out there that focus on the Emperor's Children? Or some places to find some good fluff and lore info. Ever since reading Talon of Horus I find myself waiting to learn more about them. Slave to Darkness
They pop in and out in the first three heresy books as as you said, Fabius shows his face in one of the books with the Raven Guard in it (cant remember the name off the top of my head). The actual Forge World Heresy books have a fair bit of fluff in them. Totally outdated now but the old Realm of Chaos - Slaves to Darkness has lots of good stuff in it. That's all I can think of at 2am. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299698-good-books-on-the-emperors-children/#findComment-3871370 Share on other sites

Tymell
Fabius shows his face in one of the books with the Raven Guard in it (cant remember the name off the top of my head). If that's Ravenlord, I'm not actually sure he does, or at least it's not clear. I thought of him as in it too, but when I went back and re-read, it never actually identifies him as there. There are a couple of Emperor's Children present, and some of Fabius' creations, but it doesn't identify either of the EC as Fabius. Anywho, the following within the HH series have appearances from the (named) Emperor's Children: Prince of Crows Virtues of the Sons (from Death and Defiance) A Thousand Sons Horus Rising False Gods Galaxy in Flames Flight of the Eisenstein Fulgrim The Phoenician (from The Imperial Truth) Aurelian The Outcast Dead Scorched Earth The Damnation of Pythos Deliverance Lost The Reflection Crack'd (from The Primarchs) Garro: Sword of Truth Angel Exterminatus Lucius: The Eternal Blademaster Vengeful Spirit Imperfect (from Death and Defiance) Those are in as close to a chronological order as I can get them. Obviously some appearances are more major than others. As mentioned, the FW books (most specifically Book I: Betrayal) have some nice info on them. As for good ones, I personally enjoyed Fulgrim, Aurelian (ties Fulgrim and The Reflection Crack'd together well) and The Reflection Crack'd, and their appearance in Horus Rising (can't remember as much of False Gods, Galaxy in Flames or Flight of the Eisenstein). The Phoenician, Lucius: The Eternal Blademaster and Imperfect are okay for what they are. Angel Exterminatus isn't great, but the Emperor's Children themselves are fine so long as you're okay with Graham McNeill's previous stuff with them. The rest of the appearances are minor, from what I recall. Captain Tezdal
The talon of horus has an EC character in it, as well as them being the antagonists in most of the book Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299698-good-books-on-the-emperors-children/#findComment-3881881 Share on other sites
Apothecary Vaddon
Angel Exterminatus is a great book, if you're a fan of Lucius the Eternal you'll find that he's really, really great in that novel. Man, he kicks a lot of ass. snicker snicker Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299698-good-books-on-the-emperors-children/#findComment-3883373 Share on other sites
