Grey knight list 1500 pts

Hi Everyone,

Here is the list of a grey knight army i think to play (with inquisitor allies).

Would be great to get your opinions and recomandations (i'm trying to make a versatile list with some great combo with our allies).

 

Allies:

 

Support unit: (will stay in a building with the scout rule from the liber heresius and use cover to fire on any threats)

(To bring some fire support with Ap 2 weapon we are lacking of and some vehicules hunter)

Incquisitor ordo xenos: 3 servo skull ( To assure a better arrival of our grey knight army turn 1)

liber heresius (for the split fire)

lvl 1 psy (for the primaris of divination)

With him: 3 crusader (the 3++ save will take the hardest shot )  (i should perhaps remove them and rely only on cover)

3 servitor with 3 plasma cannon

3 acolytes with plasma gun

Jakaero  (for Las cannon and improve)

1 psyker   for the dice and perhaps invisibility

 

Vehicules hunter:  (It is a cheap unit which will most probably attract a lot of attention and perhaps do something)

Chimera

1 psyker

3 acolytes with 3 melta

 

Grey Knights: (our main force that we will try to land as intact as possible)

 

HQ: Librarian, melta bomb, daemon hammer, combi melta, lvl 3 psy with divination  will join one of the termi squad 1

 

Troup 1: will deep strike with help of servo skull

6 Termi  , melta bomb, 1 hammer, 5 falchions 1 incinerator

 

Troup 2: will deep strike with help of servo skull

5 termi , melta bomb , 1 hammer,  4 falchions, 1 psycannon

 

Elite: (will rush under cover)

10 purifier in a Rhino

4 incinerator, 4 falchions, 2 hammer

 

Support:

1 NDK   teleport, heavy psycannon, great sword

This is a great and inspiring post.

I totally forget the liber heresius, it is a great piece of relic... 

 

Last weekend I played against Imperial Fists; The enemy lands a lot of Drop pods. Luckily i put Coteaz on my list, but i think the best use is within a unit of servitors and acolytes with heavy weapons. I think Coteaz and other Inquisitors are a must in our army.

Well i haven't play this list yet. but this is how i see the things

All my GK units have a least a hammer and a melta bomb so if they go in contact with a vehicule it should do the job.

Also the support unit can split fire and the Jakaero have a Las cannon option. also the S8 of the plasma cannon can also do something

otherwise the 3 men in chimera with melta will try to sneak behind or on the side of vehicules (or at the opposite if i think that the fire power of the other armie is too hard to handle for my GK at their arrival i will bring out the chimara to give an alternative target.

 

I also hesitate with Coteaz. The main thing that make me choose a normal inquisitor is the servo skull option.

i think if you put them at 13" of any ennemy units they should be safe and if the other play know what they do (imminent GK termi incoming) they will most probably avoid this zone

and choose another path. so if you set your skulls well you can influence the other player movment phase choice and predict their movment.
