So I bought another SW squad box and I'm ultimately not sure what to build. I have 5 grey hunter squads, 2 with plasmas, 2 with meltas, 1 flamers, 2 10 man CC squads and 3 long fang squad. Should I do some WG with combis or throw some jump packs on them? I just can't decide and would like some advice from the Aett

Well, highly depends on what your ultimate goal is. I would first build two units of 10 GH with 2 special weapons, probably meltas. After that I would look into Terminators and TWC. But that is me, someone who deploys GH and TDA by pods and does melee with TWC. I am not a fan of Bloodclaws or any melee units that only moves 6" for that matter.

Either way, I would first get 2 units of 10 GH up and running and then look into what strategy you would like to pursue. Once we know your general plan, we can advice much better.

I have 50 grey hunters already, hehe. 2 10 mans with 2 plasmas, 2 10 mans with 2 meltas, and 1 10 man with 2 flamers. The CC units are 10 man with 2 power weapons, a power fist, and 3 plasma pistols. These guys were my stormclaws from EoT campaign.

You could make some Blood Claws as well.

PAWG with combi's are also a great option. You get 10 bodies in the kit, so go 2 or 3 combi melta and 2 or 3 combi plasma and the rest bolters, or fins a magnet size that fits and magnetize as suggested. I magnetized some jumpers onto my Blood Angels a while back but I cannot remember what sized magnets I used.

End of Line

I haven't tried it yet but the new Tac and Vet kits seem to force you to do it. The weapons with hands and the arms are separate bits and I don't know how many spare arms there are

I read somewhere that it would be a good idea to drill the hole in the hand only ~0.5 mm deep and the hole in the arm ~1.5 mm deep for extra stability.

I find that working with 3x1mm works in the shoulder - but you're better off with stronger ones. I've got some N52s which work a treat.

Even N45s of that size and those (no idea which grade they are) are strong enough. They are a bit weak for dreadnought arms, but there you can easily use more than one per side.

Hopefully these two links will work. This two part tutorial on how to magnetize infantry models was especially helpful to me.
