Ada
Hi guys, just got one of these absolute beasts and I was wondering, what would be best to construct it with? I ask because last month I got a Sicaran and that was an absolute nightmare to put together using just superglue, ended up using green stuff to assist with the glue, could go this way again of course but it was rather fidly. Is there a bette solution? Thanks for any help in advance. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299800-fellblade-super-heavy/ Share on other sites
Lucien Eilam
I've never had any issues with superglue, but thick, gap-filling or gel superglue will be much better suited than thin liquid. I use Loctite Gel. It's all about preparation. Make sure you've thoroughly washed away any mould release, clean up and straighten the parts in hot water before you start, and consider pinning. Superglue isn't great at joining poorly fitting components. You could switch to a two-part epoxy like Araldite if you're really stuck, but it shouldn't be necessary.
