depolarization
I play about once a quarter. A newborn definitely limits my ability to participate. I'm going to try to do a campaign in January...but we'll see how well that works out :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299839-just-curious/page/2/#findComment-3877363 Share on other sites
ORKILL
Man, I can't wait for my son to be old enough to play (6 years old at the moment). I'm trying to raise him up right, steeped in the classics - I make sure that he watches the right cartoons (avengers, x-men, spiderman, etc), I read TMNT to him at night, and I let him play with the damaged space marines that I don't seem myself trying to repair. When my so was 5, I still owned my game stores. There were quite a few dads that played with kids in the 5-7 yo range we ran a special kids league that had modified rules: Each kid had 10 models Roll 4 to hit Roll 4 to wound Roll 4 to save Everything moved 6 inches Each kid painted their own minis On Saturday we had a kid table and the little guys would have a blast while the adults got in a game or two. I had a TV and toy box there for my son. So, if the kids got bored they could stay occupied. NightHowler
I need a game store like that. I'd have my son playing tomorrow. My wife still wouldn't let me play as often as you get to, but I know she'd be cool with letting me teach our son to play. Good man. Make sure he becomes a manly man. Not one of those gimps today's society produces Oh, he's also getting taekwondo lessons, gymnastics, and lots of playtime outdoors. He'll be a dual class nerd/ninja Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/299839-just-curious/page/2/#findComment-3877427 Share on other sites
