Veloces Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 In the Horus Heresy book 4 there is a relic called the Corticus primus.It counts a cortex controller and increases the potency of Cybertheurgy.However relics can only be taken by independent characters, and the one model I know of that can use cybertheurgy (Magos Dominus) is not an independent character. Is there a model I'm not thinking of that can take it. If there isn't I'm either assuming they made a mistake and it was intended to be given to the Magos Dominus, or it is supposed to also confer the Cybertheurgy special rule to the model who takes it. Neither the Magos Dominus Prime (from the Legio Cybernetica list), nor the Magos Dominus guy from both Legio and Taghmata lists, can take it. Its a dead piece of wargear. One hopes they'll FAQ the Magos Domini to be IC's (it was always stupid they weren't, as they have to take a lot of defensive gear to stay alive, as they can't hide inside squads).
