Karack Blackstone
Hello OP, it looks like you cross built the two available kits in the model's box. That's a Stormfang rear area behind the cockpit, and the rest is a Stormwolf, especially up front. Not quite sure how to help you fix this situation; hope a fix is not that hard. Frater Cornelius
The twin-linked Helfrost Cannon is under with wings on each side. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/300076-stormwolf/#findComment-3880784 Share on other sites
Karack Blackstone
The twin-linked Helfrost Cannon is under with wings on each side. Fair enough; I will be interested in hearing how this goes, considering the lack of the conventional turret mount. Could prove strong, or will force more direct flying. Frater Cornelius
I guess it is obvious he is more of a collector and painter, rather than player. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/300076-stormwolf/#findComment-3880820 Share on other sites

Tommie Soule
Gamer, collector, painter, I do what makes me happy with my hobby Why should I do it any other way? Why should any of us? I like you guys btw it's why I share here the way I do. I have an army thread but it's ignored mostly now, less interactions if you will. Z00Z
Well painted tommie. I do enjoy your work. Wish I had known about Golem when I lived in Manchester still. CatSmasher
I understand what you mean about a WIP thread Tommie. I for one like when you post it in a new topic, and i think it helps new ppl searching for inspiration Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/300076-stormwolf/#findComment-3880887 Share on other sites
Ulrik_Ironfist
Very interesting take on the flier. I like what you did with the twin linked cannon. From a player perspective, I'd have put the helfrost cannons a little farther forward (since it's silly to have a 24" ranged weapon so far back on the model. Still, very cool. Kasper_Hawser
Very nicely done although from player perspective, I question putting a fixed weapon emplacement so far back. As it is, you waste the range by making it even further back from the base. Then again, by the rule of cool, you are perfectly justified in doing so. Tommie Soule
Both guns are actually further forward than the original kits you know. T Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/300076-stormwolf/#findComment-3883045 Share on other sites
Ulrik_Ironfist
This is true. but the neat part of having the turret, is that you had a tail gun, that could shoot targets behind the model. that was a huge consideration for me, after finding the stormfang hard to use. MithrilForge
i love this,as for the guns...if you play against nerds then all you do is say "The guns are supposed to be X here & X here,so lets measure from there ok?" the painting is terrific and i like the way you have incorporated the 2 types into one ...Very well done Sir!! cheers Mithril Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/300076-stormwolf/#findComment-3887311 Share on other sites

Tommie Soule
For the hight i just sawed off the bottom of the clear flying stand. I took me ages to decide what colour to paint the wolf head at one point i wanted to remove them!
