Night Lords Beyond the Lightning: Different Customisation

 Hey all,

 

This thread is to discuss the other Terror Markings and decoration you can add to your VIII Legion Night Lords to make them stand out beyond the Bat Eared Midnight blue spikey lightning covered Marines we all love.

 

There are several brilliant things you can do to customise squads or your whole warband, some are simple and some require a little more work but there are plenty out there. 

We already have some phobias such as:

Fear of the Dark, Bats, Lightning and Death.

 

If you have examples of any awesome Night Lord extra be it physical conversion work or a paint job please share!

 

Here is a list of examples of things ive seen, used or im using:

1. Flayed Skin (From Converted Purity Seals to Cloaks)
2. Chains (Use the Khorne Berzerker Bodies and Legs and Skulls dangling from chains)
3. Other Phobias like Fear Of Spiders And Snakes (Scales, Webs And Spiders)
4. Flayed Trophies (Zombies And Ghoul parts)
5. Skulls
6. Daemon/Gargoyle imagery (from the vehicle daemon heads to using Raptor Armour)
7. Burned flaming skeletons
8. Nostraman Runes (Forgeworld or custom)
9. Images of Death (Grim Reapers, Scythes and Spirits)
10. Exposed head (paint them pale scared with black eyes)

So hopefully this thread will help share ideas seeing as there are so many of us VIII Legion on here.

Thanks for that, I have to admit I still haven't got through all the back log of awesome Night Lord threads on here.

 

I like the vicious look adding on chain weapons and the reminder that Night Lord Vehicles having awesome names that sounds like a Metal Band name.
