Grimm.
Hi, I've been working on some inquisitorial stuff. I'd like to share: Tech Magos: Bruiser: Just a quick start. I am working on other characters but just taking it slow as a complete change from army projects because they just burned me out. Anyways, enjoy! BLOODSAINT
Sweet! I'm assuming these are conversions? That is the Cairn Wraith? Man what a good idea. So good. + THE INQUISITION APPROVES +

Grimm.
Sweet! I'm assuming these are conversions? That is the Cairn Wraith? Man what a good idea. So good. + THE INQUISITION APPROVES + Yes,nothing is sacred and nothing as standard. All conversions. Â And the magos is quite possibly corrupted by chaos. The heretical machine code he has been researching may have darkened his soul. I will find out eventually.
Grimm.
Just a little update on my Inquisitorial warband. Still having fun at this change of pace.First up is Inquisitor Pheledor of the Ordo Hereticus:http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah265/Grimm3_9/Mobile%20Uploads/20141227_014753-1_zpsm6jcxvzj.jpgThis guy is charging around in power armour with a very dangerous superiority complex. Believes in his own utter infallibility and that any who question his logic is heretical in extremis, even his superiors. Very likely veering down the path of the radical. Much more information on his current operations heavily redacted.Next is his personal bodyguard Nine, a death cultist Pheledor "picked up" on a mission to an Imperial backwater many years ago. Origins are unclear but like any DCA Nine is expert with blades:http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah265/Grimm3_9/Mobile%20Uploads/20141227_014732-1_zpse0xwkasy.jpgNext this guy is an acolyte. He may serve in this retinue I haven´t decided yet. As such i´ve not even begun to worry about his back story yet.http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah265/Grimm3_9/Mobile%20Uploads/20141227_014622-1_zps1uvpbdke.jpgA "family" shot of what I have put together so far:http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah265/Grimm3_9/Mobile%20Uploads/20141227_015115-1_zpsedkbvjye.jpgand then some Wip/PiP figures:Ordo Malleus inquisitor who is getting seriously blinged up.http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah265/Grimm3_9/Mobile%20Uploads/20141227_015455-1_zpsrljnh8et.jpgAn Arco eviscerator/flagellant:http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah265/Grimm3_9/Mobile%20Uploads/20141227_015354-1_zpseboswqkj.jpgA chronos gladiator dude:http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah265/Grimm3_9/Mobile%20Uploads/20141227_015333-1_zpsvwzkm7ls.jpgSome priests, I just think the concept of priests storming into battle is whacky. Give them all MOAR eviscerators to smite the enemy!!:http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah265/Grimm3_9/Mobile%20Uploads/20141227_015309_zpspnbegygi.jpgAnd lastly a tech priest i´m slowly bringing together:http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah265/Grimm3_9/Mobile%20Uploads/20141227_015432-1_zpsy23ytyhc.jpgThanks for looking! Brother Talon
Looks like one of the REAVER (reaper?) brand ravens or crows. Or possibly an older version of Njall Stormcaller's familiar.
Grimm.
Ha no sweat, good to hear you are liking how it's progressing. Â The bird is out of the whfb giant kit. I got given a bunch of spares by a friend and there are actually two birds in the giant kit this vulture and another crow I think. Â There's an even better crow in the whfb empire general kit. Dark Sensei
That's a brilliant and spirited work, frater ! I'd paint that =I= exo-armor in red and in my pseudo were Grimm, I'd add a beardy abhuman engineer to the retinue, reminding of the first book about Inquisition affairs (but its a very personal auld hobbyist point of vue). Please keep-on the excellent work coming 8)

I hope you can catch me up to speed ha.
Dark Sensei
I'am Affraid you have, frater. Search "Inquisition War Trilogy (Novel Series)" on Lexicanum (I'm sorry, I can't succeed pushing a link).  This very first GW book about the inquisition relates the story of secret internal ordo wars and centers around an inquisitor of the Ordo Malleus and his small retinue including a Squat engineer named... Grimm. Draco is capable to use an exo-armour, his one is painted in red and includes a combi psy-cannon (these weapons have quite changed in shape and rules since the venerable auld times). Grimm.
It's funny that the squat engineer is called grimm. My username of Grimm is homonymous with my real name. And I'm 6'4".... lol
Jolemai
Could you divulge your recipe for Nine's skin tone please? Â Much appreciated :)
Dark Sensei
A 6'4'' tall Squat would need quite a beard to be Squattish at all 8). Pretty please carry-on your fine inquisitorial job, this is a really pleasant subject and an impressive performance in "bitz mastery".
Grimm.
Could you divulge your recipe for Nine's skin tone please? Â Much appreciated :) Okie dokie. Basically this: Â 1. Under coat black 2. Dry brush dawnstone over raised upper areas that might reflect light (probably best to hold model under your lamp and paint the areas that reflect most light, kinda zenithal really) 3. Wash with nuln oil all over 4. Go back over with dawnstone but don't completely cover the previous layer. 5. Highlight (well... more or less very lightly drybrush) with celestra grey. Â What I have added to the model now though is a 'gloss' coat. On the black syn skin only. It really makes it pop. Â If it's of interest what I use for gloss coat is something called Johnsons Klear (Future in the US) It is sold as a floor polish but it is awesome as gloss coat and can be diluted with water. I am still using the same bottle I bought thirteen years ago and trust me I have built a few models in that time. Â On a side note I bought some winsor newton orange ink today to try and replicate JB's bases as he paints them.... Â @dark sensei.. I can't grow a beard to save my life... I'm forty this year and still have a baby face...
