appiah4
I have a spare pair of Furioso arms lying about; if I bought a Chaplain Dreadnought from Forge World, would they be compatible? I don't want to end up with incompatible kits.. Kilofix
FW Dreads are all MK IV. Which means that they have slots on either side of the torso that can fit a targeter and the secondary Storm Bolter or Flamer weapon when using a Fist. These MK IV Dreads can take GW MK V arms, but you won't have the pieces to fit those body slots. Instead, the SB or Flamer will be on the GW MK V arm / Fist itself. appiah4
I will fill the torso weapon mounts with milliput and magnetize weapons onto plastic furioso arms. Thanks for the heads up. Naryn
Speaking from experience, the Ultramarines Venerable Dreadnought and the MK IV Ironclad weren't hard to put Furioso and Ven Dread arms on at all. The pegs were the same size, too, so it's probably standard across all the FW dreads. NovemberIX
I've done exactly what you're asking about, you may need a bit of green stuff or millput to get things to stay in place. At least that was my experience, but it'll look well worth it.
