Rune Priest Jbickb
I like them for the Deepstrike option. I sometimes take a tda rune priest and deep strike him in with 4 combiplasma TDAWG and an assault cannon TDAWG. It a pretty fun, killy unit. Daevohk
I've been taking 4 cheap Runepriests with combi-melta and integrating them into drop pod assaults to make use of massed Living Lightning attacks along with first strike melta drops. So far they've been really effective. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/300235-rune-priest-woes/page/3/#findComment-3919469 Share on other sites
Rune Priest Ridcully
It's proberbly me not wanting to do termicide as I had to do that a lot with my Thousand sons.I've got a game against Nurgle Chaos daemons with Chaos marine allies, and atm I'm thinking of running two level two rune priests, one of which will have a psychic hood, runic staff and possibly runic armour and be in a terminator pack with Ulric the slayer in front of a grey hunter pack with banner,or in said grey hunter pack, whilst I'm thinking the other one will be with a long fang pack with 3 lascannons and two missile launchers and so for him I'm thinking divination, not sure which runic weapon to go for.I'm not sure which lore to go for one with pyschic hood who will be getting up more close with the enemy, I'm thinking either Biomancy or Sanctic, as both look fun, though I admit I've never used either Daemonolgy before, and I'm not sure if I go Divination wherever it would be better to just ally in a grey knight hero.
