ElectricPaladin
That said, what are your thoughts on Scouts? Will you be taking them, or sticking to Tacticals? Or perhaps, even the Troop-choice DC and DC Dreadnought that came with Deathstorm's dataslates? Scout bikers man, overlooked unit in general and BA in particular. Scout Bikers aren't troops though, unless that has changed.... I'm more talking about troop choices, to fill in the requisite slots, and for objective secured. Just remember that you won't get Objective Secured if you want to also get the +1 Initiative on the charge. Unless you bring the whole company! Technically you could, if you bring Corbulo and stick him nearby, haha.... ThatOneMarshal
Oh, not the sanguinary kind. The half mad bearded zealot with giant chainsword kind Ah great minds think alike eh. :) You have too options sister of battle and Astra militarum. Now if all you want is priest then I recommend SOB you can up to five of them. One of the main problems with priest is leadership of 7..it's unreliable thankfully the sister have a relic which gives them leadership. You can also use jacobus who is amazeballs. He's leadership nine naturally so now your death company have a very low chance of being psychic shreked. Also counter attack for the win. For a cheap troops choice there's a 5 man squad with heavy bolter. With the guard you can only have three but the guard detachment can add some nice stuff like paskusisher(pask in a punisher), nice OS veterans with three plasma hiding in a ruin with camo cloaks, and most importantly good anti air in the form of vendettas and hydras. ElectricPaladin
I do think that allies are great with the BSFD. An list that includes an AD with a couple of OS Troops - say, Battle Sisters - to do their magic objective holding thing while your Blood Angels use their BSFD-given +1 to smash face sounds both fun and effective. The fact that a ecclesiarchy priest attached to, say, a terminator squad with a sanguinary priest, so that the unit enjoys rerollable 2+ and 3++ saves as well as 5+ FNP, is delicious icing on a cake of righteous fury. This combo got even better with the new edition, because now your priest takes care of your HQ needs and buffs the squad's WS! The whole thing fits in a storm raven now! Frater Cornelius
But charging turn 3 at best is not great. I would prefer a LRC, if I didn't know any better.
