To kill time between leaks I was considering who would be cast as the Blood Angels main characters if there was a movie...

DANTE - Peter Marinker (voice) (BBC Radio)

MEPHISTON - Billy Connolly (dad from Boondock Saints) OR Hugo Weaving (Matrix; LoTR)

ASTORATH - Benedict Cumberbatch (Star Trek Into Darkness; Sherlock)

CORBULO - Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn from LoTR)  OR Russel Crowe

LAMARTES (voice) - Bill Nighy (Shawn of the Dead; Underworld 1&2)

TYCHO - Stephen Lang (Baddass General dude from Avatar)

GABRIEL SETH - Jason Statham (Expendables) OR Jason Isaacs (Event Horizon; Harry Potter)

DANTE - Peter Marinker

MEPHISTON - Hugo Weaving long blonde hair

ASTORATH - Benedict Cumberbatch with long hair

CORBULO - Russell Crowe with blonde hair

LAMARTES - Dunno

TYCHO - Michael Biehn

GABRIEL SETH - a bald badass Daniel Day-Lewis or Jason Isaacs bald

That's all I can think of for now

Meh, I went with Ron Perman because he looks scary bald.

Astorath: Brandon Lee (The Crow)

Fixed that for you teehee.gif

Corbulo - Viggo Mortensen

Lemartes - Bill Nighy

EDIT:

Oooooooo how about Seth - Jason Statham

Brandon Lee is RIP unfortunately otherwise I'd be all about that.

Jason Statham is a much better suggestion for Seth.

I can see Viggo working out if we bleached his hair.

Bill Nighy would work pretty well for Lemartes actually. I think he already did one of the voice overs in Space Marines The Movie...

Man, you threw me with Marinker. Excellent suggestion though. If we're doing just voice lets indicate with (voice) next to the suggestion.

Cumberbatch would be BRILLIANT as Astorath and I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that.

Not interested in Day-Lewis but Jason Issacs has some real possibility.

I'm not a fan of Russel Crowe but he'd do pretty well in that role.

Hugo Weaving/Billy Connolly could both work for Mephiston but to me they both lack the level of intensity I'd expect to see. Seriously, when Meph walks on camera for his first scene I want to fear for my life.

Yeah I'm with you on that, good call. He needs to be a scary yet noble looking dude if that makes sense

Glad you like the Peter Marinker suggestion. I can imagine him muscled up as an astartes and his voice is perfect. Every time I read the fluff about how other chapters unanimously voted for him to command the Armageddon forces, I can imagine hi giving a noble speech in that voice

Bill Nighy, Mephiston.  He's been a psychopathic vampire once, and he can be again.

John Hurt, Lemartes.  Yes I know he's already played a Chaplain, so what?

Kevin Spacey, Corbulo.  That's right, you heard me.

Bruce Willis, Gabriel Seth

Hugh Jackman, Tycho.  Because angry screams.

GABRIEL SETH - Jason Statham

I would go and watch this film.

EDIT: In a slightly related note I want Terry Crews to play Vulkan, but with the voice of Jonathan Adams the voice actor (for reference look for any clip of Kang the Conqueror from Marvel's Earth's Mightiest Heroes Catroon).
