"Only" in number, maybe! They look fantastic, excellent work! From the highlighting of the armour to the cloth and guns they look brilliant. They will only look better once based as Elmo said - a winter city theme would look grand. I can't wait to see more :tu:

Really nice detailed work there. Good high lights on all areas.

But my only concern is the base suggestion. winter base might not be what I would go for with that color combination.

I am now thinking about classic winter bases with clear white. But if you would make it dirty and gritty sure, then it would work in my eyes.

Excellent work on the models. I wonder about your unit designation, however- why number it "44th"? (In Chinese and Japanese, the words "four" and "death" have similar pronunciation- four is considered an unlucky number for this reason- so your unit designation can be read as "Dead Death Elysian Drop Troops".)

Actually, i dont really have a reason for chosing number 44. im from sweden and here numbers dont have a specific meaning. i just thought that it was the 44th regiment recruited from Elysia. (although, they would have been refounded several times)

but now that you pointed this out, i might put some thought into the number of the regiment and perhaps change it to something else.

Excellent work!

The goggles/visors: we need to know how you did it.

The city bit of the bases look great but the snow looks a bit fluffy to me.

You could perhaps add some gloss varnish to the concrete in areas to make it look icy...?

Im glad you like them!

Regarding the snow I agree with your comments, and I will try to make it less frizzy. I think i also will make some of the snow puddles seem more like slush than actual snow, so there will be both snow and slush on the bases.

When i comes to making ice and mixing the snow with mud and dirt, I think it would look really good, but at some point I have to call it good enough and there are a lot of troopers to paint. so i think i'll skip that.

I'll make sure to take some pictures of the process when i paint the lenses on the guys im painting now. I might even make a little tutorial for it if youre interested.
