This man is a doctor? I don't believe he's ever been to medical school! I wouldn't let him operate on me with a ten foot pole!

... oh, he has a ten foot pole? Well, then I just wouldn't let him operate on me at all!

His paint job kinda sucks... He was the test mini I tried my new paint recipe on, but wasn't able to refine it on him. Models since (especially my Destroyers) I was able to perfect it. He has Vallejo crackle effect; which I'll tell you now doesn't work at all, and in models since I've learned to simply use the crackle as a sealant to simulate chipping in the paint (FW pigment applied as first layer, add the crackle, paint over this with armor color, use paint thinner and steel wool or brush to remove some of the paint, thus showing the pigment underneath which remains unharmed by the thinner).

I love this guy. Your painting effect to me gives it the feel of radburned earth that has caked onto his armor and the char from close detonations of explosives. I may steal this for my Iron Warriors if FW ever gets around to doing upgrade sets for them.biggrin.png Keep it up.

Why are the Medicaes armed with such violent wepoans. Chain swords, chain axes, some sort of lightning fist chain Palm thingy.

These are the guys suppose to help others.

What are we going to see next? Meltas to help cauterise the wound?

They're meant to help their guys, but they still need to dish out pain to the enemy ;)

And like I said, I love the contrast.

Heal your firend with one hand, beat the foe with the other.

You have to get to the wounded in the first place and I don't think xenos signed an agreement to let that happen.

Marines ignore on what the xenos signed for and accomplish their job.

That is what the Astartes were made for smile.png

On a serious note: just look at Kargos in Betrayer.

He is a fully believable charatcer, he kicks some serious ass and he' s also an Apothecary.

Also, I'd try to avoid too "realistic" discussions when it comes to warhammer.

Too many things would make no sense, while "because the warp" or "because the Astartes are awesome" are more than acceptable answers.
