Donkalleone
No Bjorn is Part of the Formation so he isnt a HQ in any way. FenrisWolf
Think of the formation as being outside the force org chart. If a model is the formation it can't be a part of another detachment. Heimdall Skullcrusher
Can you use a formation if you are unbound? I thought it was kind of an all or nothing thing. For the record I re-read Formations and you can definitely take formations in an Unbound army and still benefit from any special rules. Definitely seems like the way to go with an all dreadnought list. tylerw
Hi, This is a daft question I know - but i do not have a copy of the CoF - so I need to ask my brothers ... WHY if you have the March of the Ancients formation does Bjorn not count as a HQ? Is this something specific to do with that formation - or is this part of the rules of formations (that any part of it doesn't count towards your "minimum requirements")? Thanks, HDL Basically it part of an entirely separate detachment, as that formation. It's like trying to take Creed as an HQ or something, when he's part of your IG allies.
