Dafoo
So, I am a little curious how the new Red Thirst affects Unweildly Weapons. Do I get Initiative 2 with my power axes/fists on the charge? If so I am tempted to take a TEQ hunting unit of Sang Guard. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/300420-red-thirst-and-unweildly/ Share on other sites
Lucien Eilam
Unwieldy doesn't change or use the model's Initiative. It's a flat statement: "a model attacking with this weapon Piles In and fights at Initiative step 1". So a Sanguinary Guard has an effective I5 on his profile, but still doesn't get to fight until step 1 if attacking with an axe or fist. tsijben
You follow the rules. First you multiply, then add or subtract and then you take any set values. I4 + 1 = 5, but with Unwieldy it goes back to I1. Xenith
Yup. This interaction is plainly laid out in the rulebook, no workarounds :) Same with furious charge and powerfists. Double the strength before adding. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/300420-red-thirst-and-unweildly/#findComment-3889723 Share on other sites
