Codex: BA Interactive Edition - Force Requisition bug?

Recommended Posts

For those of you who own the iBooks Interactive codex: have any of you experienced a bug where the various icons that represent the various types of units (e.g. HQ, Troops, Elite, etc.) disappear from the bottom of the screen, thus making it impossible to remove them from your list?

It just happened to mine all of a sudden. It's very bizarre. I can still add units to my existing list, and I can still view the entire list, but I cannot remove any units from the list. I tried deleting the book from my ibooks, and downloading it again, but thanks to the magic of the iCloud, all the force requisition data is restored when the book is downloaded again... I've emailed Black Library and GW about this and will be calling them tomorrow, but I was hoping if any of you have experienced this, that maybe you've discovered a work around to this annoying bug!

I've got this same issue. I have had the issue come up on my Ork codex and now my Blood Angels one too. It's really annoying and I can't find a way to clear a list without the icons showing up at the bottom. Let me know what GW say. I hope they have an answer.
They wanted me to delete iBooks and reinstall it after hard resetting my iPad- problem is you can't delete iBooks since iOS 8. They've told me they forwarded the issue to their tech people. Haven't heard back since. Please post a review on iBooks and email them at contact@gwplc.com as the more people telling them about this issue, the more likely they are to try and fix it.

Do you by any chance have a mac (or access to one) ? If so, any chance you could see what it looks like in the desktop iBooks app?

I don't have any iDex, so can't test it to see if it could help resolve this issue... (Not that it would help ppl without a mac, unfortunately)

Thanks! Unfortunately I do not use or own a Mac. Just an iPad/iPhone user.
