So I might receive the following lot (for a trade) to start BA soon : 1 Furioso Librarian Dreadnought 1 Furioso Dreadnought w/ Lascannons 1 Sanguinor 1 Astorath The Grim 2 Jump Pack Chaplains 10 Sanguinary Guards 5 man Sniper Scout Squad, 4 Snipers 1 ML 5 man Devastator squad, 2 lascannons 2 plasma cannons 1 captain 10 Assault Marines 20 Death Company with Jump packs 4 Landspeeders I guess I should buy at least two tactical squads after that. Since I ain't a big fan of transports, I also guess I'll need an Aegis defense line for my tactical squads. But what else should I get ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Defender of the Faith Posted December 16, 2014 Share Posted December 16, 2014 Depends where you want to start, do you plan to play some smaller sized games (500, 750 or 1000 points) first or do you want to start out with a 1850 point list :)? The things you get are a solid base to expand on. However, there are two things you're definitely gonna need, tactical marines and transports. Which transport you choose depends on the list you're aiming at and on your personal preferences. I'm still struggling to decide whether I want to use Rhinos or drop pods :) Both are good choices but fulfil different roles. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
