ELMOSTRO
Hi fellow knights i need help with something, i know i can use my gks in space puppies drop pods, every one says that, but i have a friend who need to read the rule in the rulebook, codexs, faqs to let me use that combo. Any of you have idea where i can find that? battle brother units (grey knigths) start the game inside other army vehicle (space wolves drop pods, rhynos etc). Plz i need the page of rulebook, codex or faq.. (sorry for my crapy english) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/300718-rule-help/ Share on other sites
Captain Coolpants
Just look in the rulebook at allies.. And you'll see that it says battle brothers can share transports and benefit from buffs Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/300718-rule-help/#findComment-3895452 Share on other sites
ELMOSTRO
he want to see a especific write... raverrn
Ask him to find where Drop Pods are different from every other vehicle. Edit: Battle Bros says units can embark on friendly vehicles. Drop Pods are a friendly vehicle. If a transport is not dedicated, a unit may start embarked on it. Drop Pod FA options are not dedicated. ELMOSTRO
he says only dedicated transports can start game with units inside... thats his argument.. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/300718-rule-help/#findComment-3895499 Share on other sites

IndigoJack
And where does it say that in the rulebook? It seems like he's making rules up. Does he also believe that you can't start a unit in a storm raven? It's not a dedicated transport and it also has to start the game in reserves. Captain Coolpants
Yeahhh your friend is stupid... So by his logic, no units other than grey knight terminators can start a game inside a landraider, also by his logic, fast attack drop pods and rhinos would also be pointless as nothing could start in them.. Gaz1858
Yeh sounds like your friend is trying to fight against something he doesnt want to play against. Drop Pod is not a dedicated transport if taken from the FA section. If it was taken as a dedicated transport then he would be correct.
