Interesting tidbit about the Angel's Wing...

I just noticed that the Angel's Wing doesn't specify the matter in which a unit Deep Strikes when one uses it's ability. So:

Sanguinary Priest - The Angel's Wing, Valour's Edge, The Crown Angelic, The Veritas Vitae

10 Assault Terminator - TH/SS for all

Is this awesome? yes/yes

"Only one of each relic of Baal may be taken per army. " - yep ok you have it there

"A model may replace ONE weapon with ONE of the following" - so ok there are 2 ways you can see this

1 - you can replace only one weapon only

2 - you can replace one weapon for one weapon

even if you take it in the second manner of speaking, you will only be able to swap over for 2 relics at the most

option 1 is something along the same lines that happened to the chaos marines dex and created many arguments upon the lack of wording that was used.

Its been proven that you can take as many relics on a person as you like. As an example, look at the Crimson Slaughter supplement. If you want to create a Chaos Lord to represent Kranon the Relentless he takes like... 3 or 4 relics.

this isnt even what the OP is talking about. He is saying that a JP priest attached to Termies would reduce the scatter even though it is in theory "two different types" of deep strike

Fair enough I haven't seen that sup, just saying to check the meta of the area before getting too excited, just what I would do over here.

seems like a stretch that this should work for anything but...

I agree. "As long as the bearer is in a unit composed solely of Jump Infantry, you may reroll the scatter dice when deep striking" or something should be added.

i believe it specifically mentions units like skimmers and such being affected by the rule, as well as flyers being affected by the re-rolls but not the scatter obviously.  it's clear it's intended to affect units other than jump infantry.

now if you mean, it shouldn't allow units with different types of deep strike to drop in together, well, if that's what they wanted they should have that in the big rule book so that it would be that way for everyone, rather than specifically targeting Angels.

I think you are confused. The Angel's Wing is a Relic that allows you to reroll your scatter on Deep Strike. What you are thinking about is the Descent of Angels warlord trait, which is something else entirely.
