Ulrik_Ironfist
In purge the alien games I kinda get wrecked. I tend to win objective games, since I'm thinking about getting the objectives. I also want to grab the secondary objectives like slay the warlord, first blood, and linebreaker, since those will put me over the top. My strategy is to capitalize on speed, surprise, and violence of action. I want to rock my opponent back on his heels, seize the momentum and keep pressure on them. Force them to react to my actions. That's one reason why I went drop pods. I also like fliers because it denies my opponent the opportunity to do the same to me, unless he has skyfire and interceptor. But if I have the ability to rock him back by dropping in and killing his big guns, and shooting up his big blobs, I can set the tone for the rest of the game. That's sort of how I envision my all comer's list.
