Stormravens are ugly ducklings. They can turn into swans with a bit of effort. This actually from this site but I lost the thread it belongs to.

That's pretty impressive, but it was likely quite labour-intensive. You can make it look decent enough without doing such extensive mods.

I heard there is the chapter house extension kit but I would rather buy a storm eagle since they cost similar.

There is, here: http://chapterhousestudios.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=85_78&product_id=200

I'm not sure it offers a vast improvement aesthetically, it's more that it makes it look like it could actually carry 12 models!

I hate the flying brick. I'd much rather buy and put together the flying fridge, AKA Puppy Head. Did anyone see conversions / dimensions / other data anywhere that'd enable to get the 'wolf as close as possible, game-wise, to the 'raven, while retaining the same "chassis"?

Mate, the Stormraven is not a flying brick. That's the wolf flyer. Looks like a brick with small, under-developed wings. The SR at least has some resemblance to a Thunderhawk. msn-wink.gif

Ever wondered what the love child of a Stormraven and Stormwolf would be? Well my friend did this for his Greyknights

He calls it a 'Broadsword' pattern Raven. I prefer it, but its not a cheep conversion and the other one (Raven body, wolf wings) is an abomination

That's why I like the SW flyer. It's a large skimmer (check the belly) with fat engines and tiny control surfaces, it doesn't pretend it's an airplane.
