If you just have to use a Dark Apostle due to league rules or something, take him in a Crimson Slaughter list. Give him the horns and MoK. Run him with a unit of bezerkers. Especially if you then swap the DA for another unit of terminators to deep strike in and support the unit in the land raider. Champ, we have all wrestled with the question on how to use this guy. He has a cool model and has a good story. He sounds like he should fit in any Chaos aligned army. If he were 35 points cheaper, could replace his maul with another power weapon (even if I have to pay the point cost for it) and could take a bike, jump pack or a steed, I would actually play him. Prot Posted December 30, 2014 Share Posted December 30, 2014 I'm considering the Crimson Slaughter variant of Dark Apostle (slightly better ability) running in a larger Cultist squad, and a second Cultist squad near by.... lending fearless I believe to both squads, and Hatred (but I think they have to stay really close.)
