Morik
i just got about 8 marines assembled with mixed bits from the tactical and SW box, and they don't look very SW like, i think the problem is that they all have helmets since that's the look im going for, but i might have to reconsider. Ulrik_Ironfist
A majority of my GH models are wearing helmets (test marines painted like SW). Though I like the brazen attitude of not wearing the helmet, coupled with the understanding of not wanting to wear one. K-Pots are hot, heavy, and uncomfortable, and when you sweat it builds up in the pads and creates hot spots, and the sweat drips into your eyes, and it generally sucks. Not to mention your goggles fog up something awful. and I have to imagine that since we're smarter now than we're portrayed to be in the 41st milennium, and we haven't come up with a good solution to foggy goggle syndrome (outside of fans, which run on batteries, which can, and will, die at the most inopportune time) I completely understand. I hate wearing my FAST helmet when I play airsoft, and it's well vented, and very light weight. But that said, I'd rather my head be protected than not, so with a unit of grey hunters, bearing down in the face of gunfire, I'd take the helmet. So I like my grey hunters to have them. Using my experiences (military and airsoft) Close quarters with crumbling terrain, and rounds pinging off of everthing, Helmet all the way. Outside, on manoeuvres in the countryside I'll take my patrol cap, ball cap, or boonie, any time.
