Barb wire

I am wondering if anyone knows a good source for cheap 28mm barb wire for bases?

Army Painter sells a blister pack of Razorwire for 5.00 US. You get 2.5 meter length and can be used for 28mm.

Oh wow that looks awesome, I can however see myself going mad trying to do it, looks incredibly fiddly, the Secret Weapon razor wire pack is pretty good, haven't had a chance to use mine yet, but its very cool looking, although that's really razor wire and not barbed wire, not fond of the GW barbed wire kit (there are other similar ones too), basically wire wrapped around wire, it does the job, but you look even reasonably closely and you can tell its not barbed wire.

 

I did have a go at making my own from mesh before (mesh that's basically horizontal wire interlaced with vertical wire), it's hard to explain, but if you cut it in strips horizontally or vertically, technically you can super glue the strands together and then when you cut it small enough it becomes one long string of wire, with lots of little pieces intersecting (if you don't glue them though they all just fall off).
