Lil_Tiki_Boy
Playing a fluff game against a buddy of mine tomorrow and I was planning on running 2 full squads of purifiers combat squaded in rhinos with 1 psycannon in each combat squad. My question is can I have 1 person from each combat squad cast cleansing flame from the fire port for a total of 4 cleansing flames between all 4 combat squads? And if so could I do that and still shoot the heavy psycannons in the shooting phase? SyNidus
Yes you can do all that. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301277-psychics-and-transports/#findComment-3905720 Share on other sites
Captain Coolpants
Indeed you can. Witchfires can be shot out of fire points or open topped vehicles. Witchfires also do not count towards the total amount of weapons the model can shoot. You can also shoot at a different unit to the one you used a Witchfire on. So all is completely possible! Just remember, the guys will be snap shooting if the vehicle moved more than 6" Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301277-psychics-and-transports/#findComment-3906116 Share on other sites
Reclusiarch Darius
Do not take psycannon on anything other than a Dreadknight or TDA models. Salvo rules are bad. I wouldn't be rolling Rhinos up the field, you're unlikely to get within 9" of the enemy without being blown up first. Drop Pods or Ravens are far better delivery systems, and they're faster. As I said before, it's a fluff game. We both have sone less then competitive units we never get to play so we agreed to play a game specifically to field them. As for not taking psycannons on non terminator/DKs, I thought about taking incinerators but it seemed a bit redundant with all the cleansing flame. Maybe I'll change em to psilencers instead. It's worth knowing this stuff in case mech ever gets fixed again. s for not taking psycannons on non terminator/DKs, I thought about taking incinerators but it seemed a bit redundant with all the cleansing flame. They really don't need upgrades, they're already Sternguard expensive and better than them.
