Quidam's Alpha Legion Thread

Recommended Posts

So I've been posting a few of my pics elsewhere on the net, and posting some for the Call of Chaos, so I thought I might as well have a thread here for some of my other Chaos Marines. So that's what this is. Nothing complicated (or at least, that's what we want you to think...)

Firstly though, a warning - the pics are not great. I'm using an ipad for them, so the detail is somewhat lacking. They look better in person (honest!)

So these guys just got posted in the Call of Chaos thread:

Lord and Sorcerer in the front of the Terminator squad, with a pair of Nurgle Oblitorators bringing up the rear.

Some of my other marines:

Some marines with another sorcerer in rhinos - I've used a pair of sorcerers in a few games now and it's been quite fun.

Cut off one head, and the other one will take it's place!

Hope you like them. Hydra Dominatus!

Nice models mate, I like the choice of colours for your power weapon and the energy sources. It's very apparent on your terminators. And well done on the freehand, the difference in quality on my own freehand shoulderpads have discouraged me from making them at all until I find a nice method. :)
The heldrake is also cool, did you sculpt the parts in between the split neck and head?

Thanks. :) Don't be put off those shoulder pads, it doesn't take much experimentation to find a method that works for you. I certainly don't have a very steady hand, and I won't claim that my freehand is any good, but I've found a method that works well enough for me.

The drake neck split is indeed mostly green stuff, with a couple of nid components - the spine is from a trogon tail, and one of the tongues is from a carnies.
