disease
Hi guys, I'm thinking I want to base some models in a city where the ice is starting to melt and its just dirty slush the men have to tread through Does anyone have any suggestions or suitable examples, maybe from historic modelling? Google is proving difficult Many thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301452-slush-ice-and-grime-bases/ Share on other sites
Lucio
Thia might help, for slush try mixing a little Agrax Earthshade into the stage when you're making the snow part to give a dirty slush and then wash with Nuln Oil to shade. http://www.secretweaponminiatures.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=6 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301452-slush-ice-and-grime-bases/#findComment-3909050 Share on other sites
CoffeeGrunt
For cracked ice, the Forge World Masterclass books recommend pouring cheap superglue onto plasticard, letting it set, then flexing the card to shatter it. Collect the pieces and place them for thin, broken sheets of ice. They used it on some Krieg dioramas, looks beautiful.
