Morik
So i just got done listening to the watcher by CZ Dunn and im so angry, freaking Curze! its about wolf watch pack that gets sent to observe Curzes legion, and well... you can probably imagine, my favorite bits from "fear to thread" and "unremembered empire" have been when the watch packs arrive and meet the primarchs (Roboute and sanguinoius)and how they show so little respect to either legion in their attitude, so im a little disappointed when they meet the night lords, you can almost hear fear in the wolf who presents the pack, is that possible from the warriors of Fenris?, are the night lord that imposing? Anyone else Listened to it yet? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301503-the-watcher-cz-dunn/ Share on other sites
MaveriK
I wasn't angry. If we constantly read or listened to how our wolves are always so awesome, perfect or winning all the time then it would get dull and boring fast!!! I like that our wolves have flaws, faults and can make mistakes. It gives them depth and humanity. I don't mind reading Wolves die or losing a fight. I like the why and the how. They give it their best and they try. That's all that matters. Lord Blackwood
Now you should go listen to hunters moon! Where the Watchpack dosent go to watch but to assassinate Alpharius ps: it aint gonna go well for them. While I agree it seemed a bit shocking how our boys went out in the watcher it is more of a night lords audiodrama than a space wolf one , it shows that leigon as a group of cut throats and murders If you ever get a chance listen to prince of crows and the various other night lord audio dramas , those guys are pretty messed up but yea the night lords are " those guys" Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301503-the-watcher-cz-dunn/#findComment-3909871 Share on other sites

I was angry at freaking curze for killing SW, i wanted to get a chainsword and start hunting down night lords! yeah i have listened to hunters moon, i liked that one alot too. LOL The wolves were under orders and they were being respectful. Disciplined to a fault... At least the majority of them. They're watch packs under orders for malcador. They knew the night haunters reputation and didn't want to offend. They were just following protocol. They didn't know he already turned traitor. Lord Blackwood
they musta been the pack that drew the short straw man , go watch the murder primarch from the murder planet ,where people were constantly murdered ,till he murdered enough people who were murdering in such murdertacular ways that the rest of the murderers were too afraid of being murdered to murder anymore Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301503-the-watcher-cz-dunn/#findComment-3910451 Share on other sites

I get being respectful, but they weren't even wearing power Armour or carrying weapons except for that guy who hid a knife, considering they where sharpening their axes in-front of Guilliman when they were introduced it seems like they acted a little to domesticated for SW, do you think the wolves where scared of curze?i shure as hell would be but im no astarte. i get that its different authors and that may be the reason. they musta been the pack that drew the short straw man , go watch the murder primarch from the murder planet , where people were constantly murdered , till he murdered enough people who were murdering in such murdertacular ways that the rest of the murderers were too afraid of being murdered to murder anymore That has got to be the worst assignment in all the galaxy! LOL just goes to show that each pack leader handles things differently than the other. Circumstances dictate action. Ultramarines felt more of a show and imagery, which wolves enjoy to play that role of barbarian savages. But going into Night Haunter is a diff story. Instead they choose to walk in... “Hey we know you guys are bat:cuss crazy, so we mean you no harm, no weapons, no armor. We are under orders with the seal of malcador...” LOL that escalated real quickly! at least the wolves took a few of them down.
