Emperor's Furor
So within the new book, Conquest, it mentions how the Solar Auxilia's origins were heavily influenced by the tech enclaves of the Saturnyne and that the earliest ones came from there. It also says however they voluntary ceded themselves to the Emperor, however under the Salamanders entry in the previous book it said there was a bloody war fought their and the earliest insignia of the legion was the saturnyne ram, so I'm confused did I misread something or do these two parts contradict each other? Daemon2027
Maybe the Saturn tech enclaves ceded peacefully but what if there other factions, human or Xeno that had influences in the Saturn mini empire. Tehy may have put up resistance. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301530-saturnyne/#findComment-3910440 Share on other sites
Conn Eremon
The only reference I can find is on the image of the Terran XVIII Legionary, that had the Saturnyne Ram. It only says it was earned early in the Great Crusade. There is an early battle described, but it's a Unification/Terra piece. It's not related to the Saturnyne Ram. Emperor's Furor
I read those the fighting was so brutal some of them had to return to terra and where never seen again. I believe that was about the saturnyne I may be wrong. Saturnyne is the tech enclaves of Saturn so it would be early crusade, unification era.
