A fine start, brother!

You'll likely get more attention if you directly link the pictures, though.

Right click the picture, select copy URL, paste it between [*/img] tags on this forum. Voila!

Got it thanks guys using iPad so had to go the long way around. Anyway, those are the bases I'll be using. I would like the blood drops to pop a little more but it's red on red so I guess it won't really. Hope you like the new pictures,

They are just edge highlighted with wild rider red but I'm not a huge fan of the cartoony look of really stark likes of high lights which is why it's fairly subtle, I'm hoping the base will make the colour pop a little more as it will give a nice contrast to the red, if not I can go back and add a little more.

Thanks for the kind words,

James

Ok he's done now guys and I have some better pictures

The highlights are a little drowned out from the light as it's dark here so took the photo with my painting lamp on. The blood drops were done again using khorne red, evil suns scarlet, white mixed with evil suns scarlet, then a drop of white in the corner followed by a red glaze and then a gloss varnish to finish

Second marine on the way, posed this guy reloading his bolter having a little look around, again, struggling to get good lighting to show how they look as the light is drowning out the shade and highlights but I'll get some good ones when a few more are done

Sitting on the sofa at the moment watching tv with the other half and just built marines number drei (that's 3 in German for all you non German speakers on here) by the way, I'm not German, I'm just nuts

Hey guys, got some better pictures on my other halfs camera I got her for Christmas (look how that worked out lol) so here's a couple that hopefully show him off a little more
