Another biker, before I put those aside and get started on my knightfall vow.

The head is provisional until I find a proper skull helm (i'm trying to bum a reiver one from one of my FLGS mates). I  also have to add round bits to the ankles and studs to the shoulder pads to make it a Mk VIII plate.

Does the bike need more bling ? I also notice looking at it that I forgot the rosarius... again....

Note servitor #221, he used to be known as Neophyte Bob but he failed basic calculus so his initiate had him reconfigured. Now, how do you fail basic calculus as a Templar and end up manning a long range weapon ? By successfully shooting 11 orcs with a 10 round ammo clip.

SO, completed Knightfall vow :

And also the full terminator squad :

The shields are from Forge World, the swords from grey knight terminators, 5 models are actually Dark Angel Knights with most of the iconography filed off, the others are standard assault terminators converted with tabards from the BT upgrade kit converted as per this tutorial.

GW sprays, actually, I do not own an airbrush. But otherwise yes, spray black, tape, spray white.

On my original Raven, I did white first then black but the problem with that is mistakes are much harder to correct because the spray white isn't actually near any shade of brush on white.

Also the cockpit was sprayed white separately. It had to be painted before final assembly in order to get the pilot painted inside and the clear plastic added at the last minute.

Yep.

My regular power swords are a traditional blue, so those are purple to make sure there's no confusion and that those are indeed gravitational blades that hit like, say, a hammer.

And then for the sake of consistency, I had to do the claws purple as well.

So, I have secured a better head for my chaplain and a mate gave me some micro-beads so I was able to complete the studs on the shoulder pads of the Mk 8 armour, what do ye think ?

I love the theme of your army brother, especially your cypher conversion he looks awesome i was thinking of doing something similar for myself and your biker chaplain is cool nice to see someone else who as made their own :happy.: I'm a bit jealous of your terminators i don't personally like the space marine terminators they always look too static but puttiing tabards on them really makes them look awesome :biggrin.:

The sword is the most "Break me!" model piece I can think of, whether in blessed pewter or heretical finecast.  There's good reason I (sloppily) magnetized Ludoldus's.  An unfortunate flap of a gnat's wings or errant fart will snap that thing right off.

By the by, why is Helbrecht #2 wearing platform shoes?

Funny enough, both bases are actually the same (i.e. a 25mm base stuck on a 32mm base), because both metal models came with the old fashioned slotted base and I didn't feel like destroying my hobby clippers removing the metal bar under the model. Also, it's a clever way to upsize the model a bit on the table.

I could paint the top of #2 as I did #1, it does look a bit silly now that you point it out.

Edit : and the sword is magnetised also, you will note it is the same on both models.
