kyryn
Hi, I'm a newcomer to Chaos Daemons and lots of doubts... Its possible to keep in the main army a Bloodthirster and a Lord of Change? If possible, can I choose what discipline for my other daemons Prince in the heavy slot? Can the Lord of Change buff divination for a Khorne daemon prince? So far I have.... 1 Bloodthirster 1 Lord of Change 1 Great Unclean One 2 Daemons Prince 1 Herald of khorne on juggernaut 1 Herald of nurgle 18 Bloodletters 10 Plaguebearers 1 SoulGrinder 15 Flesh hounds Mainly I play 1750 pts.... Thanks in advance Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301952-chaos-daemons-doubts/ Share on other sites

Thanks in advance Yes it is possible to field all sorts of combinations of daemons. The "Hatred" USR applies only when they fight each other as adversaries in a battle. Use this to your advantage if you know that you will face daemons. Every reroll is golden. I usually use my Daemon Prince as a HQ, I have to check them in the HS role. Usually I field Soul Grinders or use allied Obliterators/Tanks/Maulerfiends. Yes, Lord of Change can buff a Bloodthirster. Still check the powers and the range. Be mindful because both are flying creatures, thus they allow you a great deal of mobility if played right. As for the army. It is a great starting point. Between the Flesh Hounds and the many Flying Daemons you can make quite a shock army. I would also suggest you to load on Horrors of Tzeentch and Daemonettes of Slaanesh. The first allow you to summon easily daemon units while the Daemonettes are great in melee if used properly. Hi, Thanks for the help :) I was thinking in investing in 10 seekers of slaanesh to backup my Flesh hounds and my flying princes. The Plaguebeares would be used with a aegis defense line with Quad gun, but for this I must buy another troops options or just add nurglings for late game objective conquer. Strazhakov
Yes, Lord of Change can buff a Bloodthirster. Things like this is why we need Daemonic Animosity...why would a mighty Bloodthirster accept the weakling buffs of sorcerous fools? Maybe it's just my inner Grognard but I will never get over this^^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301952-chaos-daemons-doubts/#findComment-3929528 Share on other sites
