tjdudey
Hi Guys, Here are some pics of my almost finished Stormwolf. I cannot take credit. Having only been in the hobby for a year or so, and having zero time to devote to painting (wife and 2 kids) I have someone paint for me, but I wanted to ask you what you think of the quality? I really admire this guys painting, he is a personal friend, but he is reluctant to take on external work. I wondered if you guys could tell me in your opinion, on a scale of 1-5 what level of painting you think this is?(5 being display standard) I will add some more pics as I get them. rgr_maddog
I agree, looks good. Many here are going to want better pictures and/or a completed model to rate it more specifically than that. benane
looks good and clean. maybe a bit too clean and it could use some weathering. i have the same problem at this time as i painted my tanks now but i'm afraid of ruining the paint job with weathering as i don't know how to go about it :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302000-stormwolf-pics/#findComment-3921263 Share on other sites
Amarog
agreed with all the above. a little weathering would set it off a treat, but as it is it looks great. tjdudey
I have some better pics to upload, but when I try to upload them to an album, I get an error which says 'There seems to be an error with the database'. Any suggestions on better ways to include pics in my posts? The ones above are my first pictures. benane
i would also suggest some edge highlighting. shouldn't be too difficult on the edges of the stormwolves and gives the model a lot more depth Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302000-stormwolf-pics/#findComment-3921612 Share on other sites
