The concept is simple shoot the crap out of everything! AV14 spam and flyers may be an issue but saturation of fire coupled with tank hunter should alleviate the problem.

What do you think?

I may swap the 3 man attack bike squad with multi meltas for two speeders with multi melta and graviton gun.

I don't see the Tac Support Squads...

As for giving your backfield fire-support unit apothecaries...thats debatable since the sarge can take Augury Scanners so its redundant/worthless for the apothecary to take it.

If you gave them heavy flamers and were using them very aggressively, then sure. But sitting in the back shooting at stuff kinda makes FNP worthless when they wont really be getting shot at and what will might bypass it.

Option two is as follows I feel it has more potential. Still mobile and has a nasty offensive punch in the form of a Templar star.

Still has a decent number of bodies and still has a large amount of firepower!

I like it more since you have more reliable CC killyness (terminators might still cause Trouble) and a good amount of Anti-Armor - Missile Launchers against Land Raiders aren't all that effective...

The only downside is you have to aim all your predators at the same Target. Maybe if you split the squadron up - just take the Executionner out and give it its own slot, you could still deploy them like a Squadron but have the added benefit of not having to shoot at the same Target. Unless theres something that gives Split Fire?

I've edited the option two list to denote that the predators are in two squadrons.

The executioner by himself and the ac/las preds as a squad.

Also spread out the unit listing so it's easier to read and follow.

I mean, as an Imperial Fist why Wouldn't you take the Solarite Power Gauntlet :p

I literally stuffed one on as many units that could take it in my list; most notably my Primus Medcae's and my Templar Champion.

Only other thing I'd consider is maybe cutting one tac squad for a Mortis / Contemptor-Mortis Dread for Anti-Air. Beyond that I'm happy enough with the list.

Even with the Imperial Fists bonus to Bolter accuracy, running Marine spam is a poor strategy because you will find there are a great many foes that Tactical Marines are unable to properly counter. Mechanized Tacticals are imo a lot weaker in 30K then in 40K because you lose the ability to take more models (which are really cheap), an Apothecary, and make use of Fury of the Legion since you have to move to get out.

hmm, its not really a lot of fire power, unless you are aiming to try and get fury off, but that would be hard considering your in rhinos. if it were me I would cut down on the marines in rhinos, join the units together (potentially make them breachers) and invest in some rapier batteries, vindicators and contemptors maybe. but just guys in rhinos I would think would go to far (super easy to blow them up and let the guys walk into the jaws of hell)

They may lose some firepower and bodies but mobility is king in 7th.

I'll try running with all foot sluggers for more bodies.

No, shooting is king in 7th, followed shortly by being able to take last turn objectives. AV11 3HP vehicles are free kill points in a meta revolving around killing AV15-16 5HP vehicle equivalents and T5 2+/4++ models.

Mobility is needed, but you also need to be able to kill stuff to ensure that you can get the mobile scoring unit where it needs to be.
