The Red Thirst
This book chronicles the epic saga of the war for the Space Wolves home world of Fenris and the impregnable fortress of the Fang. It includes the classic Space Marine Battles novel Battle of the Fangas well as an all-new story that further expands the tale of this pivotal Warhammer 40,000 conflict between the sons of Russ and the Thousand Sons. This title will be released later this year. Chaeron
Art is lush. It's one of the best SM battles books - so may be tempted to grab this. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302037-war-of-the-fang/#findComment-3920760 Share on other sites
Bro. Josep
Cover artwork looks great, but when does The Hunt for Magnus come out? But I will be buying War of the Fang. Jarl Kjaran Coldheart
Why is that dude as large as Magnus? He's a space wolf. He's easily a match for a primarch. jokes aside (and the joke makes less sense if you read the book...), Magnus can change size with a thought. I've no doubt that would the BL's logic if they chose to respond. daveNYC
I liked the Battle book, as it did a good job of making the 1k Sons not a bunch of mustache twirling morons, and the Space Wolves didn't come off as totally awesome snowflakes. Not that you didn't know who the nominal good and bad guys were, but you didn't read it thinking that 'Wow, these guys are dicks and I hope they get spanked hard'.
