Sparika
I would like to start a small battlefleet gothic heresy era project involving two fleet fighting each others. For now I have a space marine fleet, and the content of the BFG starter set (4 imperial cruser, 4 crusade era cruser). I want to mix those ships in two separate fleet. At this time, legions were assuming command of imperial armies and their was no distinction between legion, army and fleet. But on the other hand there was far more expeditionnary fleets than legions. So my question is, how would spaceships be painted during this period? Unified under the color of the legion they are serving with or with more diversified colors? -- Other question. I saw that there is a BFG fleet list in the second Badab War book. For me it means that at least someone in FW has some interest in BFG. Phall seems to be one of the biggest space battle of the heresy but the book that treated it didn't included any BFG rule. Which battle could be the setting for a FW BFG heresy era army list in your opinion? Marshal Rohr
The ships represented in BFG would be mid-tier strength capital ships. Atia
Unified under the color of the legion they are serving with or with more diversified colors? i would say, legion ships had legion colors, solar auxilia ships were mostly grey (like their tanks), mechanicum ships were red, titan legions were mostly based @ legion and mechanicum ships, so i don't see their colours on ships ...
