simison Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 So, for the price of painting 1 BA terminator to be used as a dead body for a tyranid base, I was given the entire BA contingent of Deathstorm. Can't tell you how awesome my friend is. To celebrate, we went ahead and played the entire campaign. First mission went horrible for me. Squad Alphaeus kept failing their armor saves, so they ended up dying 1/3 of the way to the exit point, while Karlaen managed to get 2/3 of the way by himself before failing 2 armor saves (cursed snake eyes) and dying. Tyranids 6 VP, and BA - 0. Second mission I pay him back and utterly wipe out his entire force in 3 turns, while losing Cassor. BA - 5, Tyranids - 6. Third mission, I do the tactically-unwise decision and make charge, wiping out his entire army in 3 turns. Of course, the issue is that they're never-ending so they come right back at me. He wiped me out after I killed his entire army twice. In conclusion, besides the 2nd mission, this campaign does not play well with the BA attack mindset.
