I'm not sure how many of youi play this unofficial rule set but 250 point games are amazingly fun.

My 250 Points:

Captain Sharpe w/ power sword and bolt pistol

Temperstor with Power Fist and bolt pistol

4 scions: 1 plasma, 2 hotshot lasgun and 1 hotshot volley

2 Veteran Guardsman squads w/ heavy weapons: 1 flamer, 1 grenade launcher, 1 heavy bolter and 1 autocannon.

Archemeny:

3 Chaos Space Marines: 2 autocannons and 1 combibolter

Kharne

Raptor

And one really wicked bad ass (that I can't remember the name of).

Our mission: After breaching the door to the manufactorum Sharpe's Rifles is to move in and destory the warp forge, Str 10 with 2 hull points. Every turn the forge will unleash d3 bloodletters.

Turn 1:

Since we breached this allowed the Archenemy to deploy first and since I lost the sieze the initiative. I deployed 1 squad with the autocannon on the right side and the rest of the team on the left. This allowed them to move first. Allowing the Raptors and jump capable troops to move in. However I only lost one trooper in this turn to autocannon fire. I was able to bring down Kharne, the raptor and wound the WBA.

Turn 2:

The WBA closed in and attacked Sharpe. Very little I could do against 7 attacks but WBA's victory was shortlived as I brought him down with fire from my vets and scions.

Turn 3

We continue to move towards the forge but the Archenemy is systematically removing the weapons I need to destory the forge. The right flank squad is assaulted by the CSM autocannon and if not for the armor save my trooper would have killed him in close combat.

Unfortunatley we even with my squad throwing krak grenades we only hit the forge for 1 point  and the game ends at turn 5. 1 more turn and we would've had it.

Luckily Sharpe only comes out of the engagement with 1 wound but if anyone has ever read or watched the Sharpe's Rifles series. That's just par for the course for Sharpe.
