Valkyrion
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Industrial-Terrain-Laser-Cut-Kit-28mm-Scale-40k-Bolt-Action-Necromunda-Scenery-/181637800383?pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&hash=item2a4a74e1bf Just generally browsing around for gaming table ideas and I stumbled upon this, which looks a snazzy piece of kit for Necromunda/Hive City type gaming. I have no idea what it is though. What's it made out of? Is it paint friendly? etc. Anyone used stuff like this before? SW1
It's mdf. Had some dealings with the company. They're ok to talk to (email reply within an hour of a query which was good), but do seem to make to order rather than holding stock (there's a 5 day lead time before dispatch). So don't expect it to arrive the same week you order it. I ordered a few mdf squares recently to scratch build some stuff and it took the full 5 days before dispatch. I did have a look at getting the set myself but decided the wife would not be too happy about even more stuff being bought. Looks like they've just done an mdf version I the old necromunda scenery. Mdf does eat up a lot of paint and can then warp if it gets too wet. So sealing it would be a good idea. Hope that helps.
