j-smuv Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 I always mean to fit a regular predator into the list, but I struggle to find a place for it. An autocannon predator is outclassed by the Baal, and a Stormraven or tac squad in a pod with melta are better options at tank hunting than an Annihilator. I still have a lot of them and vindicators left from my 5th edition av 13 list. So I'd love to find a place for them. It's just hard to justify at the exclusion of my Baal Predators that are now in the same slot. Maybe we'll get a detachment that expands the heavy slots. . . 'fast' is a very good upgrade indeed, couldn't imagine taking a normal predator at all. But like many other marine classics it's outclassed by more recently updated units. A single autocannon and two las cannons kinda pales in comparison to things like wave serpents, most MCs or AV14 IG tanks with 30 'rending' and 'tank hunter' shots.
