I think that points above that are a bit to "death star:ish" for my taste. So lets hear it. Your choices for the most versatile unit configuration for the blood angels! Mine probably leans more towards a unit of vanguard veterans with a priest or maybe even a captain also. Something like: 10x vanguard vets - Powerfist, 4x melta bombs, 4x Storm Shields + Sanguinary Priest - JP, Valours Egde, Bolt pistol For 395 pts Or: 5x vanguard vets - Powerfist, 2x melta bombs, 1x storm shield + Sanguinary Priest - bike, power sword + Captain - bike, Valours edge, storm shield For 400 pts Lets hear about your 400 pts or less units! :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Karhedron Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 140 Cassor the Damned 60 5 CCW Scouts and melta bombs on the Serg 200 Storm raven 400 points in total This neat little package covers your Troop tax, transportation and anti-air. Also both units have "Move through Cover" meaning that they can disembark without risk using Skies of Fury if your Raven needs to keep zooming to deal with enemy fliers or FMCs.
