MorgothNL Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 Hi guys, I'm pretty far along with my Emperor's Children 30K army, which I was posting pics of in the HH forums, when I also posted pics of my sanguinary guard and Sanguinius (because I use them in my EC army as palatines with jump packs and Fulgrim proxy till I have the real Fulgrim finished). My only complaint is that "Sanguinius" is holding his sword wrong (unless he intends to spank Horus with the flat of the blade rather than cut him with the edge). It's because the sword broke once, and it's pinned now, can easily rotate it back to the correct position and glue it to stick. Thanks for pointing it out! They just look a little dirty and flat - especially because all of your winged-icon pieces look so good and have so much contrast (almost to white). I think just a little more white- ish highlighting would really them pop. I'll first finish my EC, and after that I'll take this guy in my hands once more to tweak and improve his paintjob :). Will probably also give him a cooler base and redo the paintjob of the sword.
