Title says it all. I am thinking of purchasing some rapier weapons platforms but I'm not sure they'll fit on my firestorm redoubt. The redoubt's automated weaponry pretty much fills two of the three decks, so i'd need to fit all the platforms on the third. Can I fit 3?

I don't know exactly but I do know the rapiers do not come with bases (except the Sgt/pointy finger guy). If you need I can get dimensions but bare in mind that one of the crew will need to be in base contact (the other rides on it).

does the rider not count as being base to base, in effect?

it is a bit weird actually because the rider has a separate profile, right? It is two crew and the artillery.

so.. What do you actually do when the artillery dies but the rider survives?
magnetize his feet and put him onto a 25mm base of his own?

I asked forge world over the phone while ordering and they said that the platform is about one base width wide (I guess thats 25mm) and about one space marine's height in length. So that is quite possibly going to squeeze in though it may be tight.

The Rider is in base to base contact but I have always considered that the Sgt has to be in cohesion (within 2 inches) but that is just me, I have no knowledge of rules that contradict that. When my Rapier dies but both minis survive I just sub him with a tactical marine. The carriage is bigger than a 25 mm base but its not to far off. I hope that helps some
