ALPH4 PR1M3
Me and a few friends are playing a large heresy game 3v3 each having 5000pts and the legions primarch free to command their force as intended. Some of the legions themselves do not have there primarch yet as it is not released, is using the assassinorum execution force a fair replacement, for those legions or not? tdemayo
The Assassinorum force seems utterly different in battlefield role from a primarch. You might as well ask if a Bane blade is a good subatitute for a primarch. ALPH4 PR1M3
That's exactly my point, I think they are too different to be used in a position that a primarch would normally fill. I'm asking this question to see if it's just myself that feels this way. tdemayo
Primarchs do have a point value. So their force can take something else for the points, maybe another lord of war, for example. ALPH4 PR1M3
Something I have already mentioned, although all other lords of war are superheavy vehicles, what other alternatives are there. tdemayo
Isn't the fortification from Stronghold Assault with the D missile a lord of war? Or is it merely very expensive? Let them field the emperor using the rules from a transcendent Ctan? ALPH4 PR1M3
Both the vortex missile and macro cannon strongholds are classed as fortifications, and the transcendent c'tan isn't that a minimum pts cost of 600 because he has got to take at least so many upgrades?
