Grand Master Iapetus
Purifiers are especially effective on a crowded table, you just need to account for being able to deliver them where you want them when you want them and do it precisely. Take Locator Beacons on the SRs, Combat squad 10 man squads of Purifiers and DS (Skies of Fury) them into the fray. Pop off multiple Cleansing Flames (one for each combat squad) and watch light infantry and flyers go down fast. You have 3 SRs, that is potentially 6 Cleansing Flames in a turn - just make sure you have the warp charge points to back it up...I'd be rolling a minimum of 24 dice at 6 cleansing flames, preferably 30. Reclusiarch Darius
Take everything. Go nuts with upgrades (don't take bad stuff though obviously). Apoc is about having fun man. Don't worry too much about building to win. Just throw down and enjoy rolling lots of dice and lots of things dying/exploding. Gentlemanloser
Does Flank March still exist? If it does, take it and laugh. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302662-grey-knights-apocalypse/#findComment-3935956 Share on other sites
Grand Master Iapetus
Flank March does exist, however - it's limited to one apocalyptic formation. Meaning you can't just walk your entire army on from your enemies table edge :( Sad to see that one go, I had a lot of fun with that. I've also got an upcoming apoc game and I am looking to try the Librarius formation (just for S&G). You need 5 librarians, but you can throw out a 5" Psychic Vortex "Grenade" with a 24" range every psychic phase. It's a 5 dice power, and may end up totally worthless, but imagine DS-ing in the librarians somewhere in the backfield and start tossing around vortex should be fun. We're playing an 8000 points per side game, so I can spare the 500 points }:) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302662-grey-knights-apocalypse/#findComment-3935986 Share on other sites

All SMs - it's listed as "Space Marine Librarians" or "Space Wolf Rune Priests" Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302662-grey-knights-apocalypse/#findComment-3937101 Share on other sites
