Space Wolf Terminators

Theres a bunch of TDA loadout threads in  this section of the board you probably should search those up  for detailed explanations.

That  being said short answer is that it depends on what other models he has and what sort of army he is building / how he plans to get them onto the board.

Dont forget the Voidclaws also give And re-rolls on reserves.

Though I think if you only run a unit of 5 then you need an IC in there like Arjac to beef them up.

I like to run 7 if not using an IC to give the extra power and durability If your not running them with Arjac or a wolf priest.

Also you can not go wrong with Hammernators or Arjac's shield brothers (assuming you have the models)

WS5 and T5 termies with hammer of wrath and the saves giving automatic hits rule = nasty termies

Arjac and his Hammernators are fun...

I built mine for Alpha Strike, all with combi weapons (magnetised so I can take plasma or melta), 3 have fixed storm shields and 2 are magnatised at the wrist so they can take storm shields or power/frost weapons. They get delivered in a drop pod. When they land something gets blasted off the board then they just strole around back field being a pain in the ass. Due to 2+/3++ saves they are hard to shift and often draw a lot of fire which tends to leave the rest of your forces relatively unmolested.

I also have some combat termies that don't tend to see much use these days.

I would recommend doing some sort of flexible arms at least. I'd try to magnetize at least HALF of the arms (so you can swap Power Weapons for Storm Shields at least), and do things like a Power Fist with a SS attached (or magnetized!) to the back of that arm - you can always PF it up with that arm as well that way.  Were I to just glue together 5, I'd go for rule of cool, with stormbolters, but try to include at least 1 Power Axe, 1 Power Sword, and something to serve as a Power Maul (maybe a thunder hammer, I guess - not entirely a different concept) - that way you can easily get that mix of them in your list.
