Hydroponica
Good day Brothers. I wonder if someone might be able to direct me to a tutorial on how to do this conversion. Mainly, I just need to know what kits I should buy, to make this happen. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302780-librarian-on-a-bike/ Share on other sites
Chaplain Lucifer
You need a bike from any bike kit and a Librarian from the Starter box. Usually people use the Sgt from the DV starter box and the Librarian. You just need to cut librarian at the waist, glue to the Sgts legs and with green stuff fill any gaps. Hydroponica
Oh sweet, thanks. Just so happens I ordered some DV bikes off Ebay this morning. Guess my DV Libby is getting cut in half lol. plasmaspam
A Ravenwing bike plus a pair of the robed legs, then the upper torso of the Dark Vengeance librarian. that's how I did mine after seeing many examples done that way across the webosphere. Â Edit - Or seeing as I was so slow to post, what Chaplain Lucifer said Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302780-librarian-on-a-bike/#findComment-3935790 Share on other sites
Master Ciaphas
Hail!  Here is my (ancient) librarian on a bike: Daedalus!  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v650/Master_Ciaphas/Billede062.jpg  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v650/Master_Ciaphas/Daedalus001.jpg  Regards, Master Ciaphas Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302780-librarian-on-a-bike/#findComment-3935796 Share on other sites
Hydroponica
Would a dremel be a good tool to use for cutting the Libby? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302780-librarian-on-a-bike/#findComment-3935827 Share on other sites
Chaplain Lucifer
The cleaner the cut the better for fitting purposes, I cut mine with pliers and X-acto knife because I didn't hae better. Don't forget to check how you want to fit before cutting. You don't want to end up with two "belts" on the model... or even worse, no "belt"!!! Wicced
i'd be careful with the dremel, it's easy to ruin a cut with it. i use an old jigsaw, which i used at craft at school many years ago Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302780-librarian-on-a-bike/#findComment-3935899 Share on other sites
Galthan Ironsturm
You need a bike and biker from any bike kit , a Grey knight back (for psychical) and the psychic sword of the DV Librarian. Â You have a Biker Librarian "low-cost" ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302780-librarian-on-a-bike/#findComment-3935913 Share on other sites
Brother dean
I prefer: http://xacto.com/products/cutting-solutions/blades/classic-blades/Keyhole-Saw-Blade-15.aspx  Its slower than a dremel but I find it works good. Hydroponica
LOL! I prefer: http://xacto.com/products/cutting-solutions/blades/classic-blades/Keyhole-Saw-Blade-15.aspx  Its slower than a dremel but I find it works good. I think I'll cut the mini in half with the dremel, but I'll leave lots of excess, and I'll use my Exacto knife to trim it up.  Well, truth be told, I can be a bit cheap sometimes, so it's not a 'real' Dremel, it's a 100 piece Rotary tool kit I found on Amazon for $20 lol Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302780-librarian-on-a-bike/#findComment-3936053 Share on other sites
elmo
This is how I did it  http://i814.photobucket.com/albums/zz66/jonbrooks_photo/RWLIBBYmidsize_zps354f5a98.jpg   http://i814.photobucket.com/albums/zz66/jonbrooks_photo/P1250001_zpsc7821888.jpg  http://i814.photobucket.com/albums/zz66/jonbrooks_photo/P2220023_zps5d5c603f.jpg The bike and legs are from the DV RW Sgt along with the right arm The torso, powerpack and left arm are from the DV Librarian.  The Libby was cut just above the belt and after a little trimming it was glued onto the bike/legs making sure that the position matched up with the Sgts arm. Once the glue was dried I then merged the robes together and filled the gap between the body and the right arm with greenstuff.  The seals where already on the model so it was a fairly simple conversion.  I used a razor saw but I do have a Dremmel which I use for nearly every one of my projects at some point.  Hope this helps. Freman Bloodglaive
Â Mine was a kit bash of some robed parts on top of a bike with an assault squad power axe, then paint blue. SnakeChisler
Mine was got together from the Battleforce & Knight box sets  Hood is a shoulder pad, if I do another one I'll probably get a spare dv libby off ebay for the torso apart from that I'm fairly happy with him especially his weapon coz it can be whatever power weapon you fancy including mace of redemption  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302780-librarian-on-a-bike/#findComment-3938377 Share on other sites

Shubniggurath
Again, not the best picture, but here's mine. I had an extra bike laying around, so with a few extra bitz (I took the hand from the librarian in terminator armour, for example). Lots of great librarians here! Master Sindiferous
Ditto on Dv Libby and DV Bike SGT.  I made initial cut with plastic plier cutter, then cut below the Libby's belt and also just below right shoulder armor  with xacto knife.   Used green stuff to attach arm to show control of bike and to fill in cut around belt.  Sorry no pics to upload yet. JeffJedi
I heard you can't be promoted to the inner circle with making a Librarian on Bike conversion.
